The Chicago Architecture Foundation gives docent-guided or pre-recorded audio tours in French, Italian, Japanese and German. The German-language tour is lead by a German-speaking tour guide, and focuses on historical and modern skyscrapers, and general trends in Chicago's architecture. The Foundation is a non-profit geared toward increasing public interest in architecture and design, both in Chicago and throughout the world. General tours are limited, though private tours can be booked by groups of ten or more.

Gray Line offers an All Loop bus tour of New York City in German. The tour covers Uptown, Downtown, Brooklyn, and New York at night. The following landmarks and neighborhoods are covered: Harlem, Museum Mile, Central Park, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Lincoln Center, Grant's Tomb, United Nations, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
