Ife North is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria. Its headquarters is in Ipetumodu.
Ife North lies in the tropical rainforest belt, with undulating terrain and rich agricultural land. The area is historically significant as part of the broader Ife kingdom—cradle of Yoruba civilization and home to the iconic Ife bronze and terracotta heads. Major towns include Ipetumodu, Edunabon, Moro, Asipa, and Akinlalu.
Predominantly agrarian: cocoa, oil palm, kola nut, yam, cassava, and maize. Small-scale trading and artisanal crafts supplement farm income. Proximity to Ile-Ife (seat of the Ooni of Ife) drives cultural tourism.
