Located in the historic Hunt's Block building in West Dundee, Emmett's is old-time pub that brews its own handcrafted beer. For instance, they serve an excellent German Pilsner and English Pale Ale made with ingredients imported from the beers' country of origin. Other specialties include "Double Barrel Oatmeal Stout" and "McCarthy Red Ale," a brew with a caramel-like sweetness and fragrant hop aroma. Along with the beer, the tavern has a dining menu with everything from snacks to a full meal. If you like the beer, the restaurant also sells its brew in bottles that you can take home with you.
