Biker-Friendly Bars in Utah

Biker-friendly bars do exist in the state of Utah. Even though, according to Biker Matchmaking, nearly 75 percent of the population of Utah is affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon doctrine prohibits alcohol), biker bars can be found throughout the state. Whether passing by the vast Salt Lake Desert or navigating its radiant hills and forests, traveling through Utah on a motorcycle makes for an unforgettable scenic road trip.

    Angelo's Tavern

    • Since the 1940s, Angelo's has been a biker-friendly tavern boasting lots of comfort food, delightful barmaids and lots of friendly faces. Located just several miles from Cache National Forest, this tavern is a great watering hole featuring scores of domestic and imported beer. Angelo's even features original decor; according to Damn Bikers, the centerpiece of the tavern is a memorial wall dedicated to Vietnam veterans. Angelo's is open seven days a week.

    Gateway Saloon and Cafe

    • The Gateway Saloon and Cafe is a biker-friendly sports bar offering booze, food and camping for riders in search of a good time. For many, this local tavern has it all. Minutes from the Vernal Regional Airport, the bar is decorated with antique firearms and animal horns. According to a review by Darrie Jenkins at Urban Spoon, the Gateway provides a "family-like atmosphere" with its home-cooked food, jukebox and pool table.
