Travel to Universal CityWalk by car, taxi or subway. If driving, take the 101 Freeway and exit at Universal Center Drive or Lankershim. Take the Red Line subway to the Universal City stop if using public transportation.
Dine at one of CityWalk's many restaurants. Visit Tony Romas's steakhouse if you enjoy hearty steak and potatoes or sample gourmet California cuisine at Wolfgang's Puck's. CityWalk's Hard Rock Café displays such rock 'n' roll memorabilia as the wedding dress Madonna wore on the cover of "Like a Virgin" and one of Elvis Presley's jumpsuits. Stop for dessert or coffee at Ben and Jerry's or the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
Walk down CityWalk's streets. Universal CityWalk mimics the bright neon street signs of Hollywood of the 1950s and 1960s. Towers, billboards and awnings fill the 23 acre site, and outrageous architecture like huge orange slices and statues of baseball players decorate the walkways and stores.
Shop CityWalk's many specialty stores. Select trendy clothing at Hot Topic or Abercrombie and Fitch. Buy comic books, toys and souvenirs from "Things From Another World" or one of the other collectible or sports oriented stores.
Watch a live concert at the Gibson Amphitheater. Formerly the Universal Amphitheater, this 6,100 seat venue has hosted shows by Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Motley Crue and The Who, among others.
Enjoy one of CityWalk's many entertainment choices. Attend shows at Universal's IMAX Theatre or dance to Latin jazz at the Rumba Room. Ride a simulated race car at NASCAR Motor Speedway
