Corning holds an annual Olive Festival during the last week of August. If you are planning to be in the area during this time, this festival has something for everyone in the family. There are games for adults and children including the "find the missing olive" game where players must gather clues throughout the week. The festival also includes live music, cooking contents, a pancake breakfast and a fun run/walk event.
Termed May Madness Show, Shine and Cruise, this annual event takes place in early May. Presented by the Corning Chamber of Commerce, the event begins with registration on Friday, and a cruise and mixer that night. Saturday is an all-day event of judging the various entries, a swap meet, drag races and low-rider hydraulic shows. The day rounds out with a raffle drawing and an awards presentation.

This golf course is an attraction of the Rolling Hills Casino. However, you do not need to be registered with the casino to play the course. This is an 18-hole signature course by John Daly. The course offers a Men's Club with discounts on weekend golf, and the pro shop. There is also a full range of personal golf lessons available, and the opportunity to customize a private golf tournament.
