Expert naturalists accompany the cruise. During the day they guide guests around the islands' spectacular wildlife and at night give lectures and briefings for the following day's expedition. Around the Galapagos you will see the legendary Galapagos turtles, unusual marine iguanas, and the famous Darwin finches. The ship's sunrise deck is the ideal place for some night-time star gazing with the help of on-board astronomers. During the cruise, guests visit the islands of Española, Santa Cruz, Batolomé, Isabela and Fernandina, Ràbida, Santiago and Santa Maria.
The Celebrity Xpedition offers guests Darwin's Restaurant for a fine dining experience, and the Beagle Grill for more informal meals. The Blue Finch bar provides drinks and cocktails and is ideal for watching the Pacific sunsets around the Galapagos. The ship has a salon providing massages and beauty treatments, and a gym with hot tub and sauna. In the Discovery Lounge, guests can relax with a book from the ship's library. Entertainment on board includes a casino, live performances and an art auction. There are activity clubs for young children and teenagers, and the ship is well adapted to people with special needs ranging from mobility to impaired vision or hearing. Staterooms with wheelchair access are available on all Celebrity Cruises.
The ship offers guests the choice of a Penthouse or Xpedition suite, at 460 square feet and 230 square feet, respectively. Staterooms are Premium or Deluxe, both 160 square feet, and Ocean View, 125 square feet. The package rates include transfer from the Quito airport to the Quito Marriott hotel for a two night stay. The following day guests are given a pre-cruise tour of Quito, including an afternoon's shopping trip. Guests are flown to the Galapagos Islands on Quito Air and board the Celebrity Xpedition in Baltra. The cruise lasts eight days and seven nights, and the package rate covers entrance to the Galapagos National Park, all on-board meals and alcohol, as well as staff gratuities.
