The Poconos is a mountainous region located in northeastern Pennsylvania, United States. It encompasses four counties: Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne. The Poconos is about 100 miles (160 km) north of Philadelphia and about 80 miles (130 km) west of New York City.
