Palestinian Nationals Transiting Hong Kong: Visa Rules

Palestinian passport holders do NOT need a visa for airside transit in Hong Kong for up to 7 days.

Conditions

• Must hold a valid Palestinian Authority passport (or other recognized travel document).
• Confirmed onward ticket to a third country/region within 7 days.
• Remain in airside transit area (if leaving airport, standard visitor visa rules apply).
• No adverse immigration record in HK.

Important Notes

• Gaza residents with Egyptian travel documents or Israeli-issued laissez-passer may have different rules—verify with HK Immigration Dept.
• Always confirm with airline at check-in; they enforce destination/transit rules.
• For land/sea entry (e.g., from Shenzhen), standard visa requirements apply.
