What is western climate?

The climate of the Western Region can generally be classified as tropical wet and dry and semi-arid. Although the mean maximum, and especially the mean minimum, temperatures lie generally below those occurring within the coastal area and the Northern Region during all months there appears to exist great variability of temperatures in most weather stations.
