Kyushu is not a country and does not have a capital city. Kyushu is one of the four main islands of Japan, and the third largest by land area. It is located southwest of Honshu, and is separated from it by the Kanmon Strait. Kyushu is home to several large cities, including Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, and Kumamoto.
