Does the betta fish live in Great Barrier Reef?
The betta fish, scientifically known as Betta splendens, is a freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Vietnam. The Great Barrier Reef, on the other hand, is a vast coral reef system located off the coast of Australia. It is a marine environment, while the betta fish inhabits freshwater bodies such as rice paddies, canals, and slow-moving streams. Therefore, the betta fish does not live in the Great Barrier Reef.
