What river separates Johns Island and James SC?

There is no river that separates Johns Island and James Island in South Carolina. Both islands are located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and are part of the Sea Islands. Johns Island is located to the west of James Island, and the two islands are separated by the Stono River.
