What good did Richard the third do in England?

There is little evidence to suggest that Richard III did much good for England during his reign. In fact, he is most often remembered for the negative impact he had on the country. Some historians argue that he was responsible for the deaths of his nephews, the Princes in the Tower, and that he was a cruel and oppressive ruler. Additionally, his reign was marked by political instability and economic decline. While there may have been some positive aspects of his rule, such as his support for education and the arts, these are often overshadowed by the negative aspects. Therefore, it is difficult to say definitively that Richard III did much good for England.
