1. Jewish Quarter (Har HaBejt): Contains the Temple Mount, Western Wall, and Jewish Quarter archaeological site.
2. Christian Quarter: Northwest corner; holds the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Garden Tomb, and numerous churches and monasteries.
3. Muslim Quarter: Largest and most populous; includes the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Western Wall plaza.
4. Armenian Quarter: Southwest corner; features the Armenian Cathedral of St. James, Armenian Patriarchate, and Armenian Monastery of St. Mark.
