Reach Buckingham Palace by car. This requires paying a standard daily Congestion Charge as Buckingham Palace is in the London Congestion Charge zone. Check the Transport for London website for details.
Avoid the hassle and go by train, the underground, bus or coach. The nearest train station is London Victoria and the nearest underground stations are Victoria, Green Park and Hyde Park Corner. Take one of the many coach tours or city buses to Buckingham Palace Road. Alternatively, walk to the Palace from Trafalgar Square by the Mall Road.

Buy tickets on the day of your visit from the Ticket Office at the Visitor Entrance on Buckingham Palace Road.
Enter Buckingham Palace with a timed ticket between 9:45 am and 6 pm. The price includes guidebooks and the choice of an audio tour in eight languages. Visits last between two and two and one half hours.
Join an exclusive evening tour from 5pm to 7pm. Be shepherded for two hours by an expert guide and drink a glass of wine on the West Terrace of the Palace.
Stroll through the magnificent State Rooms where State Receptions, Investiture Ceremonies, and visits from foreign dignitaries take place. These include the Throne Room, the Green Drawing Room, the White Drawing Room, the Grand Ballroom, the Music Room, the Picture Gallery, the Blue Drawing Room and the Marble Hall. End your visit with a walk in the beautiful Buckingham Palace Garden. The Garden spans over 40 acres, but the public has access to only a 1500 foot walk around the lake.
