Which Is Bigger: The UK or the US?

The United States is vastly larger than the United Kingdom.

• United States: ~9.83 million km² (3.80 million sq mi)
• United Kingdom: ~243,610 km² (94,060 sq mi)

The US is roughly 40 times the size of the UK. You could fit the entire UK into the US more than 40 times over. For perspective, the state of Texas alone is almost three times the size of the UK, and California is larger than the UK by about 70%.
