Did first nations go to church in new France?

Some First Nations peoples did attend church in New France, while others did not. Those who did attend church often did so as a way to learn more about the French culture and to gain access to French goods and services. Additionally, some First Nations peoples were converted to Christianity by French missionaries. However, many First Nations peoples resisted French attempts to convert them and maintained their traditional religious beliefs and practices.
