Which different nationalities make up the population of Great Britain?
Great Britain is part of the United Kingdom, which comprises England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. While the UK has a diverse population, there are no "different nationalities" that make up Great Britain. People living in Great Britain are generally referred to as British citizens or, more specifically, English, Scottish, or Welsh depending on which country within Great Britain they originate from. The term British encompasses all these nationalities. Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK but not Great Britain, has its own distinct history and cultural identities, including Irish, Northern Irish, British, and Ulster people.
