What is the main seas around England?

The North Sea lies to the east of England. It is a shallow sea, connected to the Atlantic Ocean.

The English Channel separates England from France, and links the North Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. The Strait of Dover, the narrowest point of the English Channel, is only 21 miles wide.

The Celtic Sea is off the south coast of England and borders southwest England and most of southern Wales.
