The celebrated actor Cyril Ritchard (1897–1977), famed for Captain Hook in Peter Pan, lived in a townhouse at 114 East 10th Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, during his New York years.
The block (between 3rd and 4th Avenues) is historic; the building is a typical 19th-century row house. Ritchard enjoyed the Village's bohemian atmosphere and proximity to theaters.
