Where is Alaska in relationship to Russia?

Alaska is located in the northwest corner of North America, bordering the Arctic Ocean to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south, west, and southeast. Russia lies just across the Bering Strait, which is only 55 miles wide at its narrowest point. Alaska and Russia share a maritime boundary in the Bering Sea and the Arctic Ocean.
