Major Highways Crossing Arkansas

• Interstate 40 (I-40): East–west across north: Fort Smith → Conway → Little Rock → West Memphis (to Memphis, TN).
• Interstate 30 (I-30): Southwest–northeast: Texarkana → Hope → Arkadelphia → Little Rock (concurrent with I-40 briefly).
• Interstate 55 (I-55): North–south in far east: Blytheville → Jonesboro → (crosses Mississippi River to Memphis, TN).
• Interstate 49 (I-49): North–south in northwest: Fort Smith → Fayetteville → (to Missouri). Completed 2010s.
• Interstate 69 (I-69): Future: Will run south from I-55 (Turrell) through Monticello, El Dorado → Louisiana. Segments under construction.
• US Highways: US-65 (N-S central), US-67 (NE-SW), US-71 (N-S west), US-167 (N-S central).

Little Rock is the hub: I-30, I-40, I-430, I-440, I-530, I-630 converge.
