What is going in the place of The World Trade Center?

One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, was built on the site of the original World Trade Center. It is the main building of the new World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan in New York City. One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, standing at a height of 1,776 feet (541 meters). The building was designed by David Childs of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and opened in 2014. It serves as a commercial office building and hosts other facilities, including an observation deck called the One World Observatory, located on the 100th, 101st, and 102nd floors, offering panoramic views of New York City, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn. One World Trade Center also has retail space, a performing arts center, and a memorial, named "Reflecting Absence," consisting of two reflecting pools.
