Aldridge Gardens opened in 2002 and is a popular attraction in the Birmingham area. As home of the Birmingham Barons Double-A Minor League Baseball team since 1988, Regions Park, formerly known as Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, celebrated its 20th anniversary during the 2007 season.
