The Austin Children's Museum is located in downtown Austin. Children of all ages have access to fun hands-on activities, with rotating exhibits and special camps. Science Sundays bring special visitors to the museum who give presentations. Engineering Sundays include hands-on demonstrations and exploration from The University of Texas's Cockrell School of Engineering. Spring and Summer Break Camps are available for a half day or full day, and are geared toward ages 4 to 11. Discovery Time takes place on weekend afternoons, with demonstrations from regular household items. Baby Bloomers and Cub Club are programs for the 3 and under crowd.

Energy Blast is a program designed for children ages 11 and older that demonstrates Texas energy resources through 4-D technology. DinoLabs and DinoDig teach children about paleontology in the Lone Star State. There is also a planetarium. They have special presentations geared toward classrooms and even Girl Scout Troops, as well as preschool and summer classes.
The Health Museum, in Houston, is dedicated to teaching the community more about their bodies and how to keep them healthy. One of the exciting permanent exhibits is the Amazing Body Pavilion, which allows children to walk through a replica of the human body. Some of their demonstrations include live organ dissection. They also include health fairs and mini science classes, as well as annual summer camps for kids ages 5 to 13.
Mad Science has hands-on scientific fun and demonstrations that come to you. The program is geared toward elementary children. They will come to schools for an assembly or can even be hired for corporate or family events. The locations in Austin and San Antonio also provide spring break and summer camps, as well as some special Saturday events.
Patrons of the Wells Branch Community Library, in Austin, can participate in the Wacky Science program, every Wednesday. Children ages 8 and older, accompanied by an adult, are invited to participate in some fun, messy science demonstrations. Environmental science programs are available for younger children during the school year.
The Witte Museum, in San Antonio, is full of science, history, and art for both adults and children. Interactive exhibits and demonstrations rotate throughout the year, with special science camps for kids throughout the summer months. Exhibits include basic science as well as environment and ecology.
