During your visit, your child receives a complimentary backpack, field guidebook and binoculars for use on the walk along the mile-long nature trail. After the learning experience, you can enjoy a lakeside picnic. The EnergyExplorium is closed on Sundays, New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

    Charlotte Mecklenburg Library

    • Your child can apply for free library card in Charlotte Mecklenburg Library (cmlibrary.org) at North County Regional and gain access to dozens of free resources. The library offers free tutoring for elementary school children by a high school tutoring club. Children can participate in free programs such as storytime and arts and crafts class.
