How to Ride the Silver Bullet

The Silver Bullet is a roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm in Anaheim, California. It's a suspended roller coaster, which means that the track is located above the riders, who sit with their feet dangling out into the air. The Silver Bullet features a 109-foot drop, a spiral, banked curves and a vertical loop extending 105 feet. The ride takes about two minutes to complete, and reaches a top speed of 55 miles per hour.

      Check that everyone in your party who wants to ride the Silver Bullet is taller than five feet, four inches; this is the minimum height requirement.

      Plan your trip. The park opens up at 10 a.m. most days and generally closes between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. When purchased online, tickets are $46.99 for adults and $24.99 for children and seniors. At the door, adult tickets are $56.99; for children and seniors, $24.99. After 4 p.m., adult tickets are $28.50 at the door; during the winter season, adult tickets are $33.99.

      Go to Knott's Berry Farm in Anaheim, California. The park is located on Beach Blvd., two blocks south of the Freeway 91 exit. Directions are provided on the Knott's Berry Farm website.

      Head to the Ghost Town section of the park, which is straight ahead past the entrance. Follow the signs or grab a map if you get lost. The entrance to the Silver Bullet is on the east side, near the Stagecoach ride.

      Follow the signs directing you toward the line for the Silver Bullet. Wait in line until you're helped into your harness on the roller coaster.
