Enjoy the free view of New York Harbor. The view from the Staten Island Ferry of the New York skyline, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty is one of the best free attractions in New York City. Sit on the upper deck facing the New Jersey side for the best view.

Sip a beer while you ride. The Staten Island Ferry has a concession stand that serves snacks, sandwiches and beer. Enjoy a glass while you take in the view.

Explore the Staten Island Museum. Before boarding the return ferry, take a few minutes to visit the Staten Island Museum, just a five minute walk from the St. George ferry terminal.
