How to Plan a Trip to Winslow Island, Washington

Winslow is located on Bainbridge Island, across the Puget Sound from Seattle, Washington. The only way to travel to Winslow is on the Washington State Ferry system. There is plenty to do and see in this quaint little town. Winslow emanates the all-American small town feeling of comfort and fun.

      Drive downtown Seattle to the waterfront. Park in metered parking or a parking lot near pier 52.

      Arrive to the Washington State Ferry terminal one hour prior to departure for car passengers. Arrive to the terminal 20 minutes early for walk on passengers.

      Purchase tickets from the ferry terminal. Purchase a one way ticket. Passage from Winslow to Seattle is free of charge.

      Board the ferry and enjoy the 35 minute ride to Winslow. Purchase snacks and drinks form on board concessions. Ride on the front deck for a spectacular view and some fresh sea air.

      Visit the Bainbridge Island Vineyard & Winery at 682 State Highway 305. Call the winery at (206) 842-9463 for tour information and times.

      Spend the day walking along the streets of Winslow and visiting the quaint shops and eateries. Grab a treat at Bainbridge Bakers located at 140 Winslow Way, and tour the Bainbridge arts and crafts gallery.
