    Tennis and Bocce Ball

    • If tennis is more your thing, there are public tennis courts in the center of Wildwood Crest. Due to immense popularity, you have to pay a fee to use the courts between June 20 and Sept. 7. You can also rent tennis rackets and buy cans of balls. There are eight courts in total and they are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. daily. As well as the tennis facility is a bocce ball court, which you can rent by the hour to play bocce ball, which is similar to boules. Bocce ball can be played by two opposing teams, so is ideal for larger groups and for families of all ages.

    Water Sports

    • Being directly on the ocean, Wildwood Crest has a number of water sports available for visitors to get involved in. Crest Water Sports rents jet skis and Yamaha WaveRunners for one, two or three people. They also teach WaveRunner lessons. Lakeview Docks also does jet-ski rentals, as well as offering boat rentals, kayaking, crabbing and fishing from the pier. If you like the idea of being in the air above the water, parasailing is also on offer. Atlantic Parasail has taken people on more than 200,000 flights since the company established in 1987. Those who want to parasail can do so alone or in tandem and rides last up to 12 minutes. The speed boats can take up to 12 people, so it is also an ideal activity for groups of people who can enjoy the boat ride and take turns to do their flight.

    Dolphin Watching

    • The Jersey shore is famous for its bottle-nosed dolphins and there are several boat trips on offer for vacationers. Thunder Cat Dolphin Watch involves a trip on a catamaran speedboat. Dolphins will often follow and swim beside the catamaran as it powers through the water. The Thunder Cat departs from the Dolphin Cove Marina daily at 10:00, 12:00 and 2:00. Additional trips are often available during the summer. As well as offering dolphin trips, the Starlight Fleet also puts on whale watching trips, fishing excursions and sunset buffets.
