Kerry Park, located in the Queen Anne district of Seattle, offers visitors one of the most breathtaking views of the city. Here, visitors can take in Elliot Bay and Central City with Mount Ranier looming in the background. The setting becomes especially romantic in the evening and nighttime hours, as the Space Needle and city are illuminated. The park is open 24 hours so couples can pack a picnic lunch or sip champagne as they take in the view.
The Maximilien Restaurant is a French restaurant located in the Pike Place Market area. It features a romantic Paris-like atmosphere and features large windows so guests can take in the views of Puget Sound, Elliott Bay, West Seattle and the Olympic Mountains. The restaurant is open seven days a week and permits casual attire. It also offers guests the option of dining on a patio from spring through September. Menu specialities include the duck confit and cassoulet.
The Seattle Monorail provides a fast, easy way for couples to experience all the sights the city has to offer. It departs every 10 minutes from stations near the Space Needle and inside Westlake Center Mall station, before giving riders a different, above-ground, perspective of the city. The monorail was built in 1962 for the Seattle Fair and allows people to take in somewhat of a futuristic view of the city. It costs $4 for a round-trip ticket.
