The Epcot Theme Park is a 300-acre park featuring International culture and technology innovation within the Walt Disney World Resort. There are a handful of resorts located on Crescent Lake that are within a few minutes' walk to the Epcot entrance via a dedicated walkway. These resorts allow guest to come and go from the park without having to wait for scheduled transportation.
Disney Beach Club Resort is located adjacent to the Epcot Theme Park, where guests have access to a walk-in entrance. Stormalong Bay is a three-acre water park located centrally within the resort; it offers several pools, sun loungers and a shipwreck play structure. Accommodations include either a garden or a water view. There are five on-site restaurants, including the Yachtsman Steakhouse and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Disney Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course is accessible from a walkway within the resort.
Disney Boardwalk Inn is on the Disney Boardwalk on Crescent Lake; it offers walking access to the Epcot Theme Park. The five-story structure was designed after the historic style of Atlantic City. It is centrally located among a wealth of attractions and shops, including the Atlantic Dance Hall and the Screen Door General Store. Accommodations include a variety of choices, including standard and deluxe rooms, suites, and cottages all with the historic Atlantic City decor. Guest have there choice of seven on-sites restaurants, including Kouzzina by celebrity chef Cat Cora. A large pool area is located within the resort and features a 200-foot water slide and sun loungers.
The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort is a quarter-mile west of the Epcot Theme Park entrance. It is connected to the park by a walkway. The expansive resort feature Italian Renaissance architecture and 56-foot tall dolphin sculptures. It is by Crescent Lake.
Standard guestrooms are available, with a separate living area, work desk and a private balcony. Families will find a variety of on-site recreational amenities, including a game room, watercraft rentals and large sandy beach area on Crescent Lake. Camp Dolphin is a childcare service available for parents needing some time away from the kids. Six on-site eateries include Shula's Steakhouse and Cabana Bar & Beach Club.
