Deer Lick Park is located in Douglasville, Georgia, about 22 miles west of downtown Atlanta. The city is about 35 miles east of the Alabama border. The 66-acre Deer Lick Park sits on the east side of town on Mack Road. The park is home to a wide range of outdoor activities, with courts for basketball and tennis, fields for soccer, baseball and softball, courses for disc golf and miniature golf, children's playgrounds and picnic areas.
The park also has batting cages, a three-acre fishing lake and a variety of community recreation classes, camps and organized group outings. Admission and parking are free, and you'll find a handful of hotels a short drive away from the park.
