Biloxi, Mississippi lies along the Gulf Coast between New Orleans and Mobile, Ala. The Barrier Islands separate the community's 26-mile coastline from the Gulf of Mexico. Biloxi Bay Charters provides three different types of cruises on the 28-foot Express Fish and Cruise Voyager including the Sunset Cruise, Nature Cruise and Katrina tours. Fishing boats are available for one to six passengers, and a fishing license, bait and tackle are provided with each trip.
Visitors have the opportunity to see the surrounding nature, fish, sightsee and explore islands and sandbars. Lunch on the dock is an option for an additional fee. Picnics can also be arranged on nearby islands or along the sandbars.
Eco Tours of South Mississippi offers two-hour, four-hour or a full-day tour to show visitors natural habitats, swamps and marshes in southern Mississippi. Sailing along the Pascagoula River, about 17 miles from Biloxi, wildlife is abundant, including alligators, pelicans, egrets and herons.
A two-day, three-night tour is offered for those who love the outdoors and want to spend more time in Mississippi's natural wilderness. The extended trip includes staying in a cabin and taking kayak tours and cruises in the surrounding area.
Among the Fort Bayou Charters variety of cruises is a three-hour Eco Tour that travels along inland rivers near Biloxi or along the Barrier Islands. Visitors will see wildlife include the American Alligator and will enjoy watching numerous bird species living along the Gulf Coast.
All excursions include bait, tackle, ice, a souvenir picture and a fishing license. Dinner packages and lunches are also available on request for an additional fee. Cruises can be booked for up to six people.
