Technically the "Tunica Queen" is the flagship of the operation, a stately, old-style riverboat complete with paddle wheel, multiple decks, and luxury appointments for comfort. Tunica Queen is also the name of the entire operation that includes airboat tours and chartered cruises.
The Tunica Queen offers several types of tours. Group prices for 20 to 250 people and other special rates vary, and are great for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, or other special events. The main tour is a guided river tour on the riverboat the "Tunica Queen." The guided tour, narrated by the captain, highlights special sights and area history as the Queen floats down the river. A snack and drink bar is open for purchase while on the trip. House specialty drinks are a big part of the ambiance of the tour. The drinks include fun offerings like the "Mississippi Mud Slide," and the "Peach Sunset." Airboat tours for small individual outings are also available. Airboats ride along the surface of the water, propelled by a large fan at the rear of the boat. Airboats can get into small tributary waters unexplored by larger ships, giving passengers a special, up-close look at the nature of the Mississippi River.
The Tunica Queen Dinner Cruise is a beautiful sunset cruise accompanied by a delicious dinner served on the boat, with entertainment for the evening. Dinner consists of prime rib, roast turkey, red beans and rice, salad, steamed vegetables, and potatoes. Coffee, tea, and dessert are included with the package. Soda and specialty bar drinks are also available at extra cost.
