The cruise itinerary includes stops in Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas and Key West, Florida. Eastern Caribbean cruises are filled with sun and water sports either aboard ship or on the beaches of the Bahamas. The stop in colorful Key West allows strolling, dining or shopping in the small, quaint town. The Carnival Triumph can carry up to 2,758 passengers.

The Carnival Triumph alternates cruises to the Eastern Caribbean with trips to the Western Caribbean. A choice of four-, five- and 7-day cruises is available. The four-day goes to Cozumel, Mexico and back. The five-day adds a stop in Progresso, Mexico and the seven-day makes port in Belize City, Belize and Cozumel. The Carnival Triumph features a 22-foot-wide LED screen that can show movies, concerts and sporting events. The water park on board has a twisting water slide three decks high.

Norwegian Cruise Lines offers year round seven-day cruises from New Orleans to the Western Caribbean area aboard the Norwegian Spirit cruise ship. The itinerary includes stops in Costa Maya, Mexico; Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala; Belize City, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico. The ports offer tremendous access to Mayan ruins as well as beaches and great shopping. The Norwegian Spirit can host up to 1,996 passengers and includes 15 places to dine and 10 bars. For the younger crowd there is the Celebrity Teen Disco.
