Valentine's Day is a time for love and romance and a great way to celebrate is by planning a romantic excursion. Many places of romance cost more than most people would like to spend, but there are several destinations that will offer the same amenities as more expensive venues, without the higher cost.

The Valentine's Day package provides locally produced wines, an assortment of cheeses, one dozen roses and chocolates, all served upon arrival. In addition, an Irish tea is served during the evening, and followed by breakfast the next morning. In 2010, the package costs $169 per night.
