The Cliffside Inn in Newport, Rhode Island, offers a weekend package for $170, which includes a bottle of champagne, artisan chocolates, roses, and organic bath products. For a little more, guests can visit a wine bar or take a wine tour through Rhode Island Wineries.
Locate local vineyards in your area and take a small road trip. Look for places that are "rent by owner" or rentals that offer package deals for the weekend. Base your selection on the type of tours offered, such as make your own wine or do some wine tasting. Vineyards also offer scenic routes and picnic areas.
