Yellowstone National Park in Yellowstone, Wyoming, is one of the great natural treasures of the United States. One great way to experience the Wild West is to stay in a natural frontier-style cabin, located in the middle of the beautiful park. Cabins can be located in almost isolation or near a local resort, depending on what the visitor prefers.
For the traveler who prefers to remain somewhat near civilization, the frontier cabins at Lake Yellowstone Hotel are an option. This historic hotel is located on the shores of Yellowstone Lake. The frontier cabins were built in the 1920s, but restored in the early 2000s. They consist of simple duplexes placed around the hotel.
