Accommodations in Yellowstone Park

Yellowstone National Park is the oldest national park in the United States, spreading across parts of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Established in 1872, Yellowstone is a known for its abundance of wild animals as well as the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and many hot springs and geysers, including Old Faithful. Visitors can choose from nine lodging accommodations in the park, allowing access to its many attractions, recreational activities and adventures.
  1. Yellowstone's Canyon Lodge and Cabins

    • The Canyon Lodge and Cabins are near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, offering lodge rooms and cabin-style accommodations, divided among two lodge buildings. The Cascade Lodge and Dunraven Lodge have rooms but no other services. The Frontier, Pioneer and Western Cabins have lodge rooms and cabins with private baths. Because the accommodations emphasize the natural surroundings of the park, televisions, radios, Internet access and air conditioning are not available. The main building has a gift store, full service restaurant, deli and cafeteria.

    Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins

    • Completed in 1891 and restored in 1990, the historic Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins sits on the shores of Yellowstone Lake. It offer several room and cabin choices, including high range rooms, premium rooms, accessible rooms and frontier cabins. All rooms include basic amenities, including a full bathroom and telephone. Televisions, air conditioning, Internet access and radios are not available. An on-site restaurant offers menu items such as portabella melt for breakfast, a sandwich or salad for lunch and Alaskan halibut for dinner.

    Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins

    • Visitors at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins can enjoy midrange rooms with or without a bath, usually with two double beds, a telephone and sink. The frontier and budget cabins are motel-style units with two double beds but without telephones The hot tub cabin includes a six-person hot tub with a privacy fence and one queen bed. Two one- bedroom suites are available with two queen beds and cable television in a sitting room with a couch and chairs. Otherwise, Internet access, air conditioning, televisions and radios are not available. The hotel dining room is across from the hotel.
