The Founders Brewing Company are a small, independent company who brew their own specialty ales and stouts. The brewery is located in Grand Rapids and the beer can be sampled in the adjacent Taproom Bar, which overlooks the brewing facilities and allows customers a look at the beer brewing process. The bar opens from Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Food is served from the Deli menu from Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Live music is provided every Thursday and Saturday nights.

The Rum Runners Dueling Piano Bar and Grill is situated in downtown Lansing, next to the Cooley Law School Stadium. Rum Runners bars are located in four other states apart from the original bar in Michigan.
