Take a step back in time into a special part of our American history. Visit the famous homestead of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln. Take a free 25 minute tour of their downtown Springfield home, the same home where Mr. Lincoln, a man we came to know as "Honest Abe," became a president-elect in May of 1860. This special exhibit attracts scores of visitors each year, allowing them to peek into a part of Abraham Lincoln's past, including the very room where he slept at night. A limited number of tickets are given out each day at the Lincoln Home Visitor Center for free. So you'll want to be sure to get yours for this once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity.
