Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a year round end destination with a great list of popular sights and activities for vacationing tourists. Main Street is full of kitschy attractions, such as Ripley’s Believe it or Not, for the entire family to see and experience. Gatlinburg has over 450 shops, and since 1937, is the home to the nation’s largest organization of independent artists and artisans, the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. Outdoor lovers have lots of choices including fishing, golfing and whitewater rafting. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park with over 800 miles of hiking trails, horseback riding and spectacular scenery is only minutes outside of town. Although Gatlinburg is primarily a family town, there are also several nightspots available, including nightclubs and bars.
The Party Hut, in downtown Gatlinburg, is open every night, with something different happening each night. Some examples of the range of music include Latin Night, Hip-hop and European night. It has live music on some nights with dancing every night. Drink specials are available on the weekend and on Saturdays the club stays open till 3 a.m.

Blaine’s Grill and Bar is both a restaurant and nightclub. Every Friday and Saturday night from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. a disc jockey takes requests and plays top forty dance hits. The club is open to adults only and boasts of having the largest dance floor in Sevier County. There is a $3 cover charge at the door.

Hogg’s and Honey’s bills itself as a party place at night and a sport’s bar by day. The menu consists of typical bar food such as wings, chili and nachos. The bar is open till 1 a.m. nightly with a disk jockey playing tunes from country and western to rock and roll. Dancing is on the bar (that’s “on” – not a misprint) by both wait staff and customers.

Dolce Uva Wine Bar Café, which means “sweet grape” in Italian, is another nightlife alternative. It is primarily a restaurant with a wine bar. The restaurant fare is more upscale than typical bar food. The bar is open till 1 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Patrons can sing along with the karaoke machine in the later part of the evenings.
