A List of Nightclubs in Dewey Beach

Dewey Beach, nestled between Rehoboth Bay and the Atlantic Ocean in Delaware, has the reputation of being a party town. In the off season, this sleepy beach town has a population of 300. In the summertime, however, that number jumps to 30,000. There are lots of nightclubs at Dewey Beach, many of which are family-friendly restaurants that provide nightly entertainment.

  1. Bottle and Cork

    • Established in 1936, Bottle and Cork is a music venue for the 21 and older crowd. It features a full bar, typical bar food, and video games. About 175 top national acts have performed at Bottle and Cork, including Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Cyndi Lauper, 3 Doors Down, George Clinton, as well as many East Coast cover bands.

    Rusty Rudder

    • Rusty Rudder is another place to check out musical acts. There is nightly entertainment and spring and fall free music festivals. Rusty Rudder is open for lunch and dinner and provides a buffet and bar. Indoor and outdoor deck seating are available. The venue is located right on the bay.

    The Starboard

    • Men's Journal magazine ranked the Starboard as one of the top 25 bars in the United States. The most popular day of the week to visit the Starboard is Sunday, when the venue features a live band, a brunch menu, a Make Your Own Bloody Mary bar, and a long list of creative cocktails. A typical evening at the Starboard consists of live music or a DJ, drink specials, and a lively crowd.

    Big Mike's Frozen Tundra

    • Big Mike's Frozen Tundra offers fruity, frozen drinks, nightly food specials, a raw bar, as well as DJs and musical performances. The family-friendly venue also provides a free buffet during Sunday NFL halftimes and offers a free lobster to guests on Mondays if its weight is guessed correctly.

    Nalu Hawaiian Surf Bar and Grille

    • Nalu Hawaiian Surf Bar and Grille looks like a Hawaiian paradise, laden with palm trees, totem poles and tropical wall murals decorating the interior. It is the only Hawaiian-themed bar and grille at Dewey Beach. Cold beverages served in a pineapple skin and Hawaiian-style barbecued ribs are among the tropical menu items. Nalu features eight 50-inch flat screen televisions, daily food and drink, and happy hour specials. At night, local bands and/or a DJ provide music.
