The ideal time to visit Miami is May to early June and mid-September to October, when the temperature averages between 75 to 85 degrees. Miami is also hit with hurricanes at times; the peak season is between August and October.
Miami is also known for its exciting nightlife. There are clubs for those who want to dance until the sun comes up and there are also quiet clubs for older crowds. There is live music played all over the city and South Beach has the most famous nightlife in the city. Whether you're looking for live Latin music or a trendy techno disco, Miami will provide it for you.
If you're a sports fan, then you know Miami has several major league teams. The NFL Dolphins have a well-known history and are a popular team with many football fans. The NBA team, the Miami Heat, gets a lot of attention, and the major league baseball team, the Miami Marlins, are a major attraction during baseball season and well-attended by fans.
