One of these neighborhoods is the historic area of Williamsburg that was incorporated into a city in 1852. Situated just one block from the waterfront, Brooklyn Bowl is not only a bowling alley, but an entertainment experience, as well. This 16-lane bowling alley and performance venue is set in 23,000 square feet of space that is literally divided for bowling and for concert going. Saturday and Sunday evening until 6 p.m., all ages are allowed but all other days and times are 21 and older. Brooklyn Bowl has hosted celebrity DJ sets with the likes of Biz Markie and Solange. Food is also served with entrée options like a half-rack of pork ribs and blackened Alaskan salmon.

The House of Yes is a performance arts studio that hosts events, classes and workshops. An example of a class is The Sky Box that offers the same aerial training circus performers and aerialists use to practice and learn. Also, Make Fun is a fabric studio that is nestles on the second floor of the House of Yes and has workshops that specialize in creating costumes and wearable needed for stage performances. Previous events include the Sky Box Aerial Variety Show.

For everyone interested in creating crafts, Spacecraft is a craft-making studio and supply boutique that is conveniently located in south Williamsburg. Reservations are not necessary as there is an available menu that lists walk-in craft projects that are suitable for different skill levels for both adults and children. Spacecraft also has on-site parties and parties to go that include a variety of crafts, as well as additional options like a cake, catering and photography.
