For visitors who like a bit of luxury with their wilderness experience, the state of Kentucky has several private cabin resort accommodations with hot tubs available for the use of guests. Recreational activities abound in the Daniel Boone National Forest and Red River Gorge areas, where many of these accommodations are located. Many of the cabins are privately owned on isolated lots, and rented through agents, while others are part of resort areas. This family of small resorts is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest, close to the Red River Gorge region, one of the state's memorably scenic attractions.
