The Poconos is a mountain region in northeastern Pennsylvania which provides a four-season vacation area for its visitors. With everything from museums, theaters, beaches and rivers, there is something for everyone. This includes casinos for those tourists who prefer some gaming action.
In the Poconos there are two casino resorts and a famously named cousin in the valley below. No matter where you choose to stay and play, sign up for the player's card program if available. This will entitle you to special rewards and promotions based on your membership and gameplay.
Mount Airy Resort & Casino offers many gaming options for its guests with 2,500 slot machines, including the exclusive Slingo and Bankroll machines. There also are live and electronic table games such as poker, blackjack and roulette. The hotel itself has five restaurants and four bars as well as a spa and a salon. Enjoy double queen or king accommodations or treat yourself to a King Suite. There are bus tours available to the resort from locations as close as Allentown and as far away as New Jersey or even Long Island, N.Y.
