Aransas Pass is a coastal Texas town on Redfish Bay and near Aransas Bay. Aransas Pass has plenty of opportunity for swimming, boating and fishing. Each June the city hosts the Shrimporee festival which includes food, entertainment, parade and beauty pageant. Other recreational options include six city parks and Mustang Island State Park which is seven miles away in the town of Port Aransas. The Aransas Pass Texas area has several RV parks with great amenities such as pools and Internet access.
Bahia Vista RV Park is a pet friendly facility just nine miles outside of Aransas. Open year round, the park is spacious and filled with live oak trees for shade. Visitors will find pull-through sites and full water, sewer and electrical hookups. Park amenities include a laundry facility, clean showers, a game room with a juke box, wireless Internet access, swimming pool, picnic tables at each RV site, and recreation hall with television and a fireplace. Guests who fish can enjoy a 300-foot lighted pier. There are also sundecks, walkways and boat ties on Compano Bay which is next to the park.

Rockport 35 RV Park is 10 miles outside of Aransas Pass and has spacious sites and paved streets and pads. The park has 20-, 30- and 50-amp sites, level pull-throughs, phone hookups for each site, and full hookups with water, electrical and sewer. The park accommodates a variety of vehicles and sizes including coaches, fifth wheels and motor homes. Amenities include cable TV, wireless Internet access for each site, clean bathrooms with showers, a laundry facility, guest phone, an exercise room, pool tables room, spa and a club room with a kitchen. Guests can relax in the park's outdoor pool in summer. The pool is also available in winter, when it is covered with a dome and heated.

Sandollar Resort Motel and RV Park is on Aransas Bay in the town of Rockport, just 11 miles outside of Aransas Pass. Sandollar's RV park includes 103 sites with full hookups for water, sewer and electricity, 30- to 50-amp service, concrete RV sites, pull-through sites and cable television. Lots are situated among oak tress that give shade. The park has areas available for barbecue and picnics, two pools, a sundeck and a restaurant. Guests with boats can use the Sandollar Marina which has boat slips and a bait stand. Those without a boat can enjoy the marina's 700-foot fishing pier. Sandollar is a pet friendly RV park.
